MASTER'S CERTIFICATE IN QUALITY

To better meet the needs of the medical device industry, Graduate Engineering offers a Master's Certificate in Quality. The School of Engineering awards certificates for the completion of three courses (9 credit hours). The courses are:
  • ENGM 605. Quality Assurance
  • ENGM 650. Regulatory Affairs for the Medical Device Industry
  • ENGM 652. Quality Systems for the Medical Device Industry

ADMISSION/APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited U.S. college or university or from an international institution of acceptable standing is required for admission. Applicants should demonstrate a high promise of success and should submit:

  1. Completed application (online at www.cbu.edu/memp) with application fee.
  2. Personal statement describing the fit between career objectives and the Quality Certificate.
  3. One official transcript of previous academic credits from each of the colleges or universities previously attended.
  4. Two letters of recommendation from former teachers or immediate supervisors qualified to attest to the applicant's preparation for and ability to perfrom graduate study.
  5. Current resume.
  6. If English is not the native language or was not the language of instruction for an international applicant's baccalaureate degree, a minimum proficiency in English equivalent to a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test), 231 (CBT/computer-based test), or 79 (iBT/Internet-based test) must be demonstrated.
