WELCOME! Christian Brothers University offers ABET accredited undergraduate engineering programs in
chemical
,
civil
,
electrical
, and
mechanical
engineering. Each curriculum is sufficiently flexible to permit a student to tailor a course of study for entry into the engineering profession immediately or for continued study in graduate school. While most graduates remain in the engineering field, a significant number use their engineering background as a foundation for careers in law, medicine, business, education, science, and other areas.
In addition to the four disciplines, the School of Engineering collaborates with the School of Sciences to offer a
Dual Degree program
that provides students the opportunity to earn undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering and computer science simultaneously. The School of Engineering and the School of Business jointly offer a
Bachelors of Science in Engineering Management. Engineering students may also choose minors offered by the School of Arts, School of Business, and School of Sciences. These minors include Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering Psychology. The School of Engineering also offers a certificate program in
Packaging Engineering and
Construction Management.
The chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering degree programs are accredited by the
Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, 410.347.7700.
