The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program is a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, which is designed to provide veterans with additional funds up to 100 percent of the out-of-pocket tuition and fees for degree programs that may exceed the normal Post 9/11 GI Bill tuition benefit.

Veterans attending CBU have the option to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the Day program or the Professional Studies (evening) program. Those who have already completed a Bachelor’s degree may choose to pursue a Master’s degree at CBU.

If you are unsure whether you qualify for educational benefits under the Yellow Ribbon Program, please contact your local Veterans Affairs office or visit the VA Web site at www.gibill.va.gov for participant requirements. Veterans who do not qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program may qualify for other educational assistance under the GI Bill. The Department of Veterans Affairs can help you determine your benefits.

For questions about the Yellow Ribbon Program at CBU, call us at (901) 321-3291 or email us at vets@cbu.edu.
